Stiftung OST am Standort Rapperswil-Jona

Ivan Bütler was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Stiftung OST am Standort Rapperswil-Jona Foundation in 2022.

The purpose of the foundation is to promote the Rapperswil-Jona site of the OST - Ostschweizer Fachhochschule, particularly in cultural and material terms. This is achieved in particular by means of

Cultural events for the student body and for those interested in the OSTRJ location
Grants to the OST-RJ site for teaching materials and facilities that cannot be procured from ordinary funds
Granting financial aid to students, especially in cases of hardship, if the existing social facilities are not sufficient
Acquisition of land and properties for the construction of student accommodation (e.g. student residences)
Acquisition of land or properties for the construction of student accommodation
The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
